I came across these photos yesterday and found them really touching. What beautiful hearts these little boys have.

Yes, Tee, those are wonderful pictures & those 2 boys are the kindest. The puppy looks so hopeful, then so happy to be found. Thank you for posting them - so many don’t take the time to browse Flickr for their creative, poignant offerings.

Kathryn - While I do browse Flickr on my own, I have to admit that I found these photos on Digg.com - But yes, you’re so right - so many hidden treasures in Flickr. I could look through people’s photos all day long.

hello tee :) i’m marissa from singapore and i read your blog on a regular basis not because i’m a stalker but because i find your words powerful and true.
you write about topics that are close to heart and matters that people should read and think about.
this picture reminded me of the time when i was in chiang mai, thailand about three years ago. the people there led a mediocre life but you can see from their eyes the joys and satisfaction they have with their life.
the dogs there are super friendly too! i am ususally scared of dogs and won’t come near them at all but the ones in thailand are all friendly.
it’s nice to know that there are people out there like you who don’t judge a person based on their colour and religion!
i support obama too!!

Your words were so kind and really made my day.
What you’ve said about those who live simple lives is so true. Those of us who are blessed in excess with material things I think have a harder time appreciating the simple pleasures in life.
Awesome to hear from an Obama supporter all the way in Singapore. It’s too bad you can’t vote here, too! ;)
